The reading room
The library serves the school and the colleges together. It holds the prescribed texts for every class as well as general reading, and it is the quietest room on the campus — which is the point of it.
Which books, and whose
The pre-primary and junior classes work largely from Path Finder, Star Kidz, Green Earth, Intellica and Evergreen titles, covering writing, number work, environmental studies, general knowledge and art and craft.
From Class V the Rajasthan State Textbook Board at Jaipur supplies the core subjects, with grammar, general knowledge and art still taken from the private publishers. Classes VI and VII follow NCERT — Honeysuckle and A Pact with the Sun, Honeycomb and An Alien Hand for English, with NCERT texts across Maths, Science, Hindi, History, Geography, Political Science and Sanskrit. Classes VIII to X return to the state board texts.
