Our primary object is that the school achieves its mission — a setting that equips students academically, culturally, socially and physically, until it becomes the educational institution of Shekhawati.

The trust
A group of institutions in the Shekhawati country of Sikar district, built on the belief that only good schooling changes a life.
Shri Rishikul Vidyapeeth is a group of institutions. The school aims at the development of the whole child, and provides the opportunity — through a carefully designed curriculum, co-curricular activity and an unhurried atmosphere — for that development to happen naturally.
Beyond the syllabus, the object is to help a student form a scientific attitude and a modern outlook, together with an attachment to their own country, its cultural inheritance and its traditions. We train our students to be self-disciplined, self-reliant and responsible in every part of life.
It is true that education is the birthright of every child. But we hold that it is the quality of that education which matters, and our philosophy values the uniqueness of every child — the object being to help each one find the whole of their own potential.
Our five pillars
Value system
Conduct and character, carried long after the syllabus is forgotten.
Curriculum
Built on enquiry — pupils learn to ask before they learn to answer.
Teachers
Held in regard by the town, and to the standard the tradition expects.
Smart classes
Audio-visual teaching where it deepens understanding, not for display.
Architecture
Courtyards, laboratories, a library and a field, all inside one wall.

A school is the foundation of a life. Here we go beyond the boundaries of books: we inspire and enthuse, encouraging young minds to think, question and imagine.
Girdharilal Sharma
Mentor
A businessman with a long interest in promoting education in his native Rajasthan, and a steady supporter of the Vidyapeeth’s growth.
Virendra Bajaj
Treasurer
An industrialist in coal mining and hard coking coke, who donated the entire seating of the Vidyapeeth’s sabhagrah and has assisted the institution both financially and morally.

Laxmangarh sits in the Shekhawati, the painted-haveli country of northern Rajasthan, and the campus stands beside the Ramlila ground with a frescoed haveli visible over the boundary wall. The design of this website borrows from that architecture — the cusped arch of a haveli doorway, the jali lattice, and the crimson, ochre and cream of the Vidyapeeth’s own crest.
The crest carries three things: a diya, a lotus and an open book. Between them they say most of what the trust means by education.
