Shri Rishikul Brahmacharya Ashram

The hostel exists so that a student from a village beyond the bus routes can still attend, and it is run on the understanding that a parent handing over a child expects them to be fed properly, kept safe and made to study.

There are two study halls with enough tables and chairs for everyone, kept quiet at the hours when work gets done.

Safety is treated as a first-order concern rather than a formality. Fire-fighting equipment is placed on every floor, and an emergency alarm with switches on each floor.

A first aid box is available at any hour for cuts, abrasions and burns. There is a separate sick room with at least two beds, blankets and a medical first aid box, so that an unwell student is not left in a shared room.
